Adversity happens in life and as a writer whether you’re a beginner or you’ve experience writing, you can’t pretend as if it doesn’t matter. It matters, but you have the ability to cultivate resilience in fighting it.
It is amazing to see how people moved above all the obstacles on their way to achieve success.
You can achieve incredible things despite the setbacks stationed on the road to become successful in your writing. That’s why it pays when you turn any adversity into triumph.
I had some kind of difficulties that were enough to discourage me from making an impact in life.
But I said no and persist, at the end, I recovered and learned great and encouraging lessons. Here began the experience that prepared me to write, talking about building resilient and a determined mind-set to overcome adversity or any challenges facing you as a writer.
You can have a well-planned goal and when it is time for you to execute it, problems surfaced from nowhere to put a stop to it. Really, it can be discouraging!
Difficulty is one thing that can stop you from fulfilling your creative potential or achieving the kind of results you expected. But, do you have to bow down to it?
For me, the answer is no, you don’t have to be soft with it, and this is the reason you need to cultivate the perseverance and the determination to continue writing.
How can you abandon your goal because one problem or the other wants to discourage you from climbing the ladder of success?
Your ability to show courage and fight without looking back when faced with a difficult situation separates you from others.
Through perseverance, you can perfect any life skill. Many writers had been rejected from making their books available to their readers.
Did they give up or continue writing no matter the setbacks?
Just picture many of them becoming best-selling authors in the world.
With perseverance, you continue writing and not paying much attention to any rejections you might experience. Writers are faced with different rejections, which brings disappoints.
It’s like if you’re applying for jobs, simply because you were rejected. Will you stop applying for another job? It is a setback quite alright. It is difficult to accept, but you can turn it to your advantage if you continue to persist.
Should you use it as an excuse for not applying further? It appeals also as an aspiring writer.
Writing content demands your perseverance and determination especially during unfavourable situations. Most authors you see today, passed through challenges to become the best sellers as well as best authors.
Life can throw punches at you but you must try to dodge it. You have to push forward through resilience because it guides you not to quit, but keep moving on.
The reason you should do this is because you want to face adversity or any challenges that you’re able.
Imagine that you have set your goals on what you want to achieve for yourself. Let’s say for the week, month or year.
Yet, you haven’t hit your target and frustration sets in. The best thing to do is not to give up.
You have to be persistent instead of a constant heave of sigh and getting set to run away from going after your creative talents.
Don’t surrender, picture what you stand to gain in future if you continue your writing growth.
Come to think of it, how will you achieve success if you surrender your goals?
Let’s face the fact that it is tempting to give up when things seem not working as planned.
I’ve faced difficult situations even as a writer. It always feels like giving up. If not for my resilience, writing should be behind me now.
Here are the benefits you can get from perseverance.
